License and sale terms
Last updated: October 2026
Products
These terms apply to the purchase and use of the products sold on srtserver.app: SRT Server, with its modules and services (internet name for your PC, SAMedia connection service and installation assistance), and MeetOut. When a section refers to a specific product, it applies only to that product; the general sections (Price and payment, Liability, Termination and Applicable law) apply to both. Each program also includes its own end-user license agreement, which you accept when installing it.
The license
Buying a license gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use SRT Server, according to the plan and add-ons you bought. You do not buy the software itself, which remains the property of Sebastian Arcas V.
One PC per license
Each license is activated on one PC at a time. You can move it to another PC by releasing it from your client area or from the app. The app validates the license online; after activating it, it keeps working for up to 7 days without connection.
What is not allowed
Copying, reselling, renting or sublicensing the software or the licenses; reverse engineering, decompiling or bypassing the license system; sharing license or installation keys with third parties.
Plans, add-ons and duration
Perpetual licenses do not expire. Monthly licenses are valid for the paid period and renew if you keep the subscription. Add-ons bought for a perpetual license, including the «All modules» pack, stay on it forever. TC Record includes the vMix, Roland and ATEM loggers. The Community Manager only plan is monthly, does not include SRT or RTMP channels and only gives access to the Community Manager module; Community Manager is also sold as an add-on for perpetual licenses and is included in Pro, Monthly Pro and the «All modules» pack.
Social media live streaming (Community Manager)
You are responsible for the content you stream and for complying with the terms of each network (YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok...) and with the rights to what you broadcast. Networks may change or limit their services, their APIs or key-based streaming at any time; Community Manager adapts in its updates, but we are not liable for outages or changes made by third parties. Streaming to several networks at once needs enough upload bandwidth for all of them. By connecting your YouTube account in Community Manager you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms), and the Google Privacy Policy applies (policies.google.com/privacy).
Internet name for your PC (Let's Encrypt)
If you turn on your PC's internet name (for example, studio.pc.srtserver.app), srtserver.app publishes it in its DNS pointing to your PC's public IP while the license is active on it, and SRT Server requests a free certificate for that name from Let's Encrypt (Internet Security Research Group). By using it you accept the Let's Encrypt Subscriber Agreement (letsencrypt.org/repository) and become the subscriber of the certificate; the certificate's private key is created on your PC and never leaves it. The name is public: it appears in the public certificate logs (Certificate Transparency) and leads to your PC's IP, so don't use names that identify people, clients or places. Third-party brand names and misleading or offensive names are not allowed, and we may withdraw a name that breaches these terms. The name is optional: without it, everything works with the IP, as always. We may stop offering it if Let's Encrypt or the DNS provider change their terms.
SAMedia connection service
The SAMedia connection service brings incoming internet connections (cameras, phones, Intercom, Tally, Web Streaming) to your PC through a SAMedia server, without opening ports on your router. The server is shared among the customers who use it and is offered on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of uninterrupted service: for critical events we recommend your own server (own NAS or Amazon Lightsail) or the direct connection. There are two plans. The free plan has limits on simultaneous inputs, bandwidth and monthly traffic; the App shows them in real time, and we may change them or withdraw the free plan by giving notice on the website and in the App. The «unlimited» plan is a monthly subscription on the license, paid with PayPal, which renews automatically every month and has a bandwidth safety cap because the server is shared. You can cancel it at any time from your client area: you are not charged again and it stays active until the end of the paid month, with no refund for the unused part of the month. The content that passes through the server is neither stored nor inspected; only each license's traffic is measured to apply the limits. The service may not be used for illegal content, resold, or used for purposes other than production with SRT Server, and we may suspend access for a license that uses it abusively or puts the service of others at risk. If we stop offering the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund the paid part that has not been used.
Installation and setup assistance
The assistance is a one-time paid service: a SAMedia technician installs and configures SRT Server and the modules on your license with you, by remote access, until they are working (from 0 to 100 %), in one or more sessions totalling up to 4 hours. When you pay, a support ticket opens in your client area where we agree on the day and time; the assistance can be used during the 6 months following the purchase. You can reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice; if you do not join an agreed session without notice, its time is deducted. During the session you need to be in front of the PC, with administrator rights, access to your router if needed, and the cameras, phones and equipment you want to set up. You grant the remote access with the tool we tell you, you can see everything that is done at all times and you can stop it whenever you want; we do not store your passwords. It does not include hardware, the SRT Server license, third-party licenses or services (vMix, ATEM, your internet provider…), or repairing equipment or networks that do not work; if something like that prevents completing it, we will tell you what is missing and continue once it is solved, within the contracted time. Right of withdrawal: you can withdraw within 14 days of the purchase by writing to us in the ticket. If you ask us to start before those 14 days have passed, you accept that, if you withdraw, the part already provided is deducted, and that once the full assistance has been provided you lose the right of withdrawal (arts. 103.a and 108.3 of the Spanish General Consumer Protection Act). If we cannot provide it for reasons attributable to us, we refund the full amount.
MeetOut
MeetOut is a Windows program that delivers the video and sound of the participants of Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoho Meeting calls as NDI® and OMT sources. It is purchased as a monthly subscription with PayPal: when you subscribe we create your license and email it to you, usually within a few hours on business days; you will also see it in your client area. If you do not receive it within 7 days, you can cancel and we refund what you paid.
Each license is activated on one PC at a time; to change PCs, deactivate it on the previous one («Your license» window › «Deactivate on this computer», or when uninstalling). MeetOut checks the license over the internet and can work for up to 7 days offline; joining Zoom meetings of other accounts needs a connection at that moment. Support for Microsoft Teams and Zoho Meeting is experimental (beta).
You can cancel the subscription at any time from your client area: you are not charged again, the license stays active until the end of the paid month and is then deactivated, with no refund for the unused part of the month. If we change the price, ongoing subscriptions keep theirs. Right of withdrawal: the license is digital content; by subscribing you consent to us delivering it before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that, once delivered, you lose that right for the current month (art. 103.m of the Spanish General Consumer Protection Act).
MeetOut is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Zoom, Google, Microsoft or Zoho, whose trademarks belong to their owners. You must use those platforms in accordance with their own terms, and how they work with MeetOut may be affected by changes they introduce. You are responsible for having the permissions needed to capture, broadcast or record the image and voice of the participants, for informing them and, where applicable, for obtaining their consent under data protection law.
Updates
Updates are included while the license is valid. The app installs them automatically after checking their signature.
Price and payment
Prices are shown with VAT included. Payment is made through PayPal. You will receive the license, the installation key and the invoice by email and in your client area.
Right of withdrawal
SRT Server is digital content supplied immediately. By accepting these terms at the time of purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal (art. 103.m of the Spanish Consumer Law) once the license is delivered. If the software does not work as described, write to us and we will find a solution.
Liability
SRT Server is professional software for live production. We work so that it is stable, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the license and we are not liable for indirect damages such as interrupted broadcasts or loss of recordings. Keep backups and test your setup before each event.
Termination
We may deactivate a license that is used in breach of these terms. Except in that case, you keep the right to use the licenses you have paid for.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts of your domicile.
